Kirkland is our home,
Bridle Trails is our neighborhood
TechCity Bowl (opened as Totem Bowl) has been a family owned and operated business since 1958 and we strive to ensure our customers and our neighbors have nothing but the best experience while utilizing our facilities.
We pride ourselves in offering an inclusive, safe, and healthy place for families and people of all ages. None of that will change when we redevelop! Kirkland is our home, and Bridle Trails is our neighborhood.

We think neighborhood commercial centers like Bridle Trails are the right place to put more housing and small businesses that serve
Our business represents a big family, beginning with Jim and Freda Gaines who came to Kirkland in 1955. Our aunts and uncles, cousins and siblings grew up and went to school here when anyone could live in Kirkland, but only a few lucky ones like us did. Now, everyone wants to live here, but few can afford it.
We think neighborhood commercial centers like Bridle Trails are the right place to put more housing and small business that serve the local neighborhood. Bridle Trails is already home to a wide array of housing, from apartments, multi-family and single family homes adjacent to the center, to sprawling equestrian properties to the south. We think more housing at the center makes sense and builds upon what this neighborhood does best – welcoming everyone.
Will there be a bowling alley in the new development?
“We honestly don’t know yet. Once we get approval for the additional two stories, we’ll find the right development partner to work with to make this the right project for this neighborhood.”
We invite you to come be a part of the conversation. Our commitment is to listen to our neighbors as we plan for the future. COVID-19 has changed everything.
To keep everyone safe, we’ll be holding an online Open House on October 21, 2020 and offer an online comment form for you feedback. Take a look at the timeline for opportunities to engage in this project, or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
